Applications are invited for multiple Visiting Assistant Professor positions for the academic year 2018-
2019, contingent upon available funding. The positions are open to applicants from all research areas in
Mathematics. A PhD in Mathematics is required by the starting time of the appointment. The candidates
must possess demonstrated competence in research and teaching. Preference is given to candidates with
strong research synergy with existing programs. The teaching load is two courses per quarter (each
quarter is about 11-weeks), for a total of six courses per year. In addition to teaching, the applicants will

This is initially a one-year appointment and is renewable for up to a third year term. If a decision for

considered, if available.
